This large chamber contains a pool of lava with a small island upon which stands a burnished bronze statue of Pyrotheus. Lava flows around the base of the statue in a small stone basin. There is a salamander next to the pool of lava carefully sprinkling ashes into the pool.
This is Cinder Tongue. He is not eager to fight the party since they have proven capable of getting this fair into his domain. However, he will do his best to defend himself. If his hit points are reduced to less than 30 he will use teleport to escape if able. There is no treasure in this room. The statue is huge and molded into the stone. If the party does anything to the statue and the god has not already attacked them: Pyrotheus will appear in the room, accuse them of committing sin and attack them.
