The Winter Court

The Winter Court, also known as the Unseelie Court, is one of the two fey courts. It is led by an Archfey known as the Queen of Air and Darkness, who like all other Archfey has never revealed her name. The Winter Court is considerably more violent and hostile to mortals than its Summer counterpart, and is made up largely of beings that have found their way into the dark fairy tales of Ura. According to Teghneism, these violent tendencies were caused by the betrayal of the First Demons, but have since been utilised by Enor to assist the Border Lord in protecting the Feywild from threats from the Shadowfell, Abyss, and far Realm. Winter, in turn, is kept in check by the Summer Court.
