The Hobb Sea

The Hobb Sea is a body of water west of Bakeria that contains five large islands, as well as numerous smaller ones. The large islands are Dromundia, Fenulei, and Teoktia, which are controlled by the Ciprosian Regnum, Ettuania, which is controlled by the Kingdom of Oshagm, and New Ostrum, which is not known to be controlled by any government. All of these islands are dominated by rainforests, and all but Fenulei are fairly mountainous. They are primarily tropical in climate, recieving considerable rainfall and periodically suffering from hurricanes, althoughthe northern parts of Dromundia and Ettuania are better classified as warm temperate regions.
Dromundia, Ettuania, and Teoktia all have substantial populations of native Goblinoids, though the majority are concentrated on Dromundia. Dromundia is home to the Kingdom of the Sun, a formerly independent, Hobgoblin-dominated state that was subjugated by the Ciprosian Regnum in 849, and is now a client state, with its laws dictated by the Ciprosian governor and the Vicar of the Sun serving as a figurehead. Fenulei is home to the Vedalken, who possess a highly regimented and meritocratic society, which was also subjugated by the Ciprosian Regnum, though without bloodshed. New Ostrum is rarely visited, and its native Goblinoid population is believed to have either fled or been wiped out by some unknown catastrophe at some point in the 9th Century.
