Old Finorr
Old Finorr refers to the region roughly coinciding with the initial borders of the League of Finorrium. It was the heartland of both the aforementioned League and the later Finorrian Republic. It was historically populated by a mixture of Dwarves and Humans, and served as the strongest base of support for the Finorrian Priesthood.
As a result of the Great Northern Winter, the region became almost entirely abandoned, with even the once great city of Finorrium becoming completely depopulated, and eventually abandoned. Beginning in the 9th Century YD, small numbers of pilgrims, archaeologists, and treasure hunters began moving back into the region. In In 899YD, the Last Legion, a Goblinoid warband, established itself in Old Finorr, and remains in the western poriton of it to this day.
