Tyrfing

A magical sword from Norse mythology. It was crafted by the dwarves.
As it is drawn, a light shines from it, "like a ray of sun".
When unsheathed it has to be the death of someone, and it can only be sheathed with warm blood still on it.
If wounded by it, nothing will live to see another day, no matter how small the wound.
Said to never fail a stroke, and if blows are struck with it, the weilder will always be victorious.
It is of viking design with a hilt of gold.
