Asir
A Vettir tribe known to humanity as the pantheon of Norse gods.
While their powers and exploits might have been blown out of proportion, many of their stories are rooted at least partially in truth.
Only few of the original Asir remain after the cataclysmic event known as Ragnarok. Our sources directly mentions the survivors of Ragnarok as Hönir, Magni, Modi, Njord, Vithar the Mute, Vali, and the daughter of Sol, however many others - especially of the women are neither mentioned as survivors or present at Ragnarok.
The reason for their continued existance across the ages is attributed to the magical Golden Fruit of Idunn's orchard. The Asir makes up the ruling class of the Vettir of Gimlé. For now the Asir present at Gimlé shares the burden of leadership in a somewhat flat structure.

Public Agenda
The official statements of Asir support the idea, that their role in this new Age after The Unravelling is to help and guide the Changelings and Feys of Our World, and protect them as best they can.
While not publically stated, it is well known that some Asir take up the life of travelling monster hunters, which is still a political greyzone.
