While the War between the Forces of Creation and Maferath rages on around the world, Maferath corrupts his mightiest followers into wicked and powerful demons.

And the souls of Maferath’s most profound servants, yea those great and powerful mages and heroes whose hearts he had turned, Maferath wrought upon them a terrible work and twisted and mutilated their souls until they became monsters of shadow, masters of evil and devourers of mortals. Thus came into the world the Balor, the demons of the old world who live forever and haunt and torture the children of Solun.

  While the children of Solun try to live out their lives, a war has been raging between the Forces of Creation and Maferath the Destroyer. After bringing to life the Orcs, Goblins, Giants and all the fell creatures of the world he then took the men and women that had chosen to follow them, the twelve most powerful of them, and he wrought upon them a terrible and wicked work. Using black magic drawn from the Nine Hells, Maferath corrupted their heart and infused their bodied with flame and lightning changing them into the first Balor of Solun's world. They would serve during the coming ages as his Captains and Generals in his struggle against Solun and the Forces of Creation.
