Illusion Magic

Illusion Magic is a type (or branch) of magic that exists in the world of United Britannia and Hibernia.

Regulation

Illusion Magic is not heavily regulated by the Council. However, like with all magic, those using their magic for malicious reasons can be prosecuted.

Subtypes

There are no official subtypes of Illusion Magic, but the informal subtypes typically revolve around whatever sense is being the most manipulated (i.e., sight, smell, taste, hearing, touch, etc.). These usually fall into two further different types: Inducement and Deprivation. Perhaps the most powerful use is emotion; some witches can Induce or Deprive those of certain feelings.
For entertainment purposes, most born with Illusion Magic are strong in appearance manipulation and decoy creation/manipulation.

Careers

Because of the breadth of Illusion Magic, many different careers are available to those with Illusion Magic. Many choose to go into the entertainment industries as actors/actresses or Duelists. Many also join the military, as those with Illusion Magic are especially useful to the military.
Celia Cross was born with Illusion Magic, and Vesper Cross's official Born Magic is Illusion Magic. Tristan Gold was also born with Illusion Magic.
