Touched

Once thought to be touched by gods in times in need, it was discovered that it's more people who connect to the ancient primordial ancestors of the world. They often take on physical aspects of their connection, though the majority of characteristics stay the same as the parent race, a common trait is touched seem to live longer. While the below describes full touched, lesser touched do exists and have an affinity for that specific element. It is believed several sub species of other groups came into existence from touched ancestors.

Sub-species

There are five known sub species and one theorised one, as no shadow touched has been found.

Light touched

Also known as god touched, light-touched tend to be slightly taller then the parent species, with lighter hair and skin. They also tend to have rarer eye colours, ranging from gold and silver to pale green and purple. They also tend to glow slightly, the brightness of this glow can change with emotion, though some light-touched can control it. Every Prophet of Akoom seems to become light touched.

Fire-touched

Noticeable by the reddish hew the touched skin is in comparison to others of it's parent species, with some's skin just being fire red. Their hair and eyes are also both warmer colours, often red, yellow or orange. It is said a fire touched is prone to rapidly changing emotions, and nearly all become adventurers.

Water-touched

Water touched become more amphibious versions of the parent species, gaining various water creature adaptations. They also gain a blue/green hew to their skin and hair. Most find their way to the gem sea.

Earth touched

Heavier and broader versions of the parent race. Skin tends to be darker with Grey and brown eyes. Earth touched tend to be calmer and settle down.

Air touched

Normally lighter and more slender then the parent race, air touched tend to have very pale eyes and white hair with pale blue hews in the skin. They tend to like to wonder, while not adventurous, they don't tend to stay still.

Dark touched

The theorized touched, no dark touched has been discovered though the discovery of dark primordial in the fey age sparked debate on the existence. Some believe the Shadow elves come from shadow touched.
