Topaz Island

The center of the Desolate isles is also the largest, the barren lifeless domain of the Desolater.

Volcanic desert

Originally a volcanic island, a large magma chamber is said to still sit beneath the island creating a heated lifeless environment. Only Zumontiarth calls this island home, though several settlements have tried to be set up on the coast, all failed due to the hostile environments.

Glitering yellow

The island and shallows around are covered in topaz deposits, these deposits reflect the sun heating the island making it constantly warm during the day, this heating process means once the sun goes down the temperature drops to cold temperatures.

Negative pressure

An area around the island where some form of draining energy, leaving those who spend the night within the area tired. This doesn't seem to affect those with experience with necrotic magic and handling death.

tenticle sea Sea

The sea surrounding topaz island has a massive population of squid. These both fed Zumontiarth and the various societies around the central desolate sea, including Lacertillia.
