"I'm telling you, there is a nest of undead Kobalds in the desert. Me and my team, we were sent to open a trade route to the Civipish in the north, but what we found, the screams." Norkas Takes another drink of her ale, "The first part of the journey was fine, it wasn't till we got to an Oasis that things started going to shit, First that weird human tried setting fire to our tents by creating a glass windbreak, glass in the desert, you kidding me?." She downs her beer as Lady Li hands him another ale. "What happened after the Oasis?" Li asked "Our navigation tools didn't work and tracks seemed to lead everywhere, so I covered my eyes and used my instincts. The idiots led me straight past an important milestone and straight into a temple courtyard before telling me." Norkas continues to drink "We decided to explore, see what state the inside was, though one wanted treasure, oh I forgot to mention, from around the milestone, we couldn't lie. But yeah we had a look inside and got attacked by a bunch of Vampiric Kobalds, Then the idiot, yes the same one that nearly burnt down our camp, summoned a demon. I hot-footed it out of there." Norkas seemed to stare into the ale for a minute "I should have left then, continued north." Slamming back the remains of the ale, as well as the next. "I followed them into the tomb and found the idiots fighting a mummy, only one seemed to have turned on the others. They died leaving the mummy to return to its throne and seemingly fall back to sleep. A sphinx told me to leave and I wasn't about to question it. Historical Basis
The recording is of a first-person account, although accounts of such a temple do exist, many adventurers don't find it, and those that do can't lead other people there.
