Dryad's Rest

The Elves say there has always been a small port at Dyrad's rest, though the village has grown and shrunk through the Eras. The small port functioned as a gateway onto the island proper and is classified as neutral. The Village itself has very few permanent residents, with the majority of those in the area just passing through. It is also a good stop for independent ship crews to stop off and relax for a time.

Little dock

The Small wooden dock lacks all the infrastructure of others in the area. It amounts to five piers with a rowboat landing section to the West. This means any crew that docks must unload, load and resupply themselves.

Gdobble inn

The Large central 'building' on raised land acts as a meeting point for the village, providing meals, alcohol, and community to those visiting the island. The building itself consists of a large back room, with a basement for storage. The bar comes out under a colonnade, and the seating spread through the open room to the surrounding field. Stairs raise up next to the side of the back room leading to a walkway to several rooms. The entire area is enclosed by a small knee-high wall that patrons often sit on. Often serving food native to and around the island. Drinks were often also served in coconut shells.   The proprietor changed hands regularly over the ages until around 50 Fey when a family of Satyrs settled and took over the bar more permanently.

The bunkhouse

A large warehouse-type building by the dock serves as a cheap bunkhouse for visitors, with each guest getting a cot and chest to use during their stay.

Willow Shirine

A large willow tree overlooks the river at the east end of town. Underneath its branches lies a small pond with a wooden statue of a beautiful forest Dryad at one end. The Pond is considered good luck, with many people throwing a coin into its depths.   The statue has changed twice in the Era of Ages, first was during the blight, when it seemingly cried tree sap. The second was the first century Fey when several flowers bloomed forming a neck garland.

Garden Market

A large public garden is littered with exotic flowerbeds, bushes, and palm trees. Dotted in between these are temporary markets for ships trading with each other. Though not a proper stop on any trade route, many ships that come to relax set up a small stall to justify the trip.   In the Fey age, several small more permanent wooden stalls popped up, though never at the detriment of the garden.

Troll Bridges

The two bridges leading from Dryad's rest are home to a family of trolls that live in small cave networks underneath. These trolls act as guardians for the main island, making sure no violent or unwanted pass.
