Magic research has been done on Undinia long before even the Phervians arrived, and at the forefront of this research has been the creation of life. Legends abound of past experiments from the draconic library having an orangutang as a librarian at one point to nightmarish beasts guarding island laboratories. Some say Owlin, Koblads, and Dragon-born are even a result of these experiments. This was taken to the extreme in the Phervian slave rebellions as they created servents to replace those who were rebelling, Giant Bullman to replace Orcs, lizards, and frogmen to replace the more aquatic races, but these couldn't stem the tides of change. Now, these races and countless others awakened beasts roam the world for their place in it.
