Arcanum

Also known as the city of spires or the city of light, Arcanum is the city of high Elves and the oldest of the elvan cities.

Layout

Though the city covers the entire island, it is the least densely populated city in Undinia. Large avenues link scattered buildings with elaborate towers that rise up to the heavens with pillars and terraces built into the architecture to ensure light can reach every section of the island. In the center was a raised platform with the Archon's house on it. To one side of the Archon's house was a circler terrace in which meetings were held. Between the builders were orchards, both wild and cultivated gardens, parks, and monuments. These areas not only provide food for the city but also leisure and relaxation for the citizens.

Economy

With plentiful food gifted from nature, the need to barter has been removed. Instead, citizens follow their own desires and interests, and goods and services are exchanged as gifts.
