Culper

Culper is a metal, found in hotsand in chunks. Similar to nemalnium, it's a popular and semi-valuable resource. Unlike nemalnium, however, it's much more difficult to work with and must be processed with more specialized methods.

Properties

Material Characteristics

Culper has a very golden-brown appearance, much like copper in the real world. When found naturally, it's a goopy mess, that somehow all tends to cling together. Once it's removed from the heat, and treated with cactal coolant, it solidifies. It can be reduced to very small and thin strands. Since it conducts electricity, this is the most common way you'll see culper.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Culper is known for its ability to conduct electricity. This is why it's so widely used in electronics and powered systems.

Geology & Geography

You can find culper mostly in the sand, much like nemalnium.

History & Usage

Everyday use

While not used directly on the day-to-day, most people are using things powered by a culper-based circuit.

Industrial Use

Culper is important in electronic and mechanical applications, thanks to its ability to conduct electricity. If it can move by itself, there's culper in it somewhere. This makes it practically synonymous with "industry".

Refinement

Culper is very goopy and difficult to handle when found naturally. It must be removed from the heat and treated with a special coolant before it can be processed into things like wires and circuitry.

Manufacturing & Products

If it moves by itself, it's got culper in it.
