The Indepenent Alliance of Free States (I-Fas)

IAFS are a collection of mostly anonymous territories and business who wish to form new economic blocks and stem the growth of The States-Union's authoritarian regime.
There military wing is currently rather small and engaged in a gruella war with the TSU-s branch of the Union.

Structure

IAFS is overseen by a board of directors made up of primarily representatives of its sponsors.     - The Head of Bailey Mechanics is also the Chairmen of the IAFS board.     - The highest ranked military officer of IAFS is Vice-Admiral Louise - IAFS has no admiralty aside from him.     - Head Captain Legro and Commander Ceathair of the Tradech as well as Commander Nate Novel, also sit on the board.

Culture

A large variety of cultures are contained in IAFS owing to its initial formation of disgruntled veterans from both TSU and Remembrance - As well as frequently recruiting from Bannerman, the Moons and the Nation-Sates - leading to a large array of cultural norms.

Financially backed by namely large corporations, foremost of all being Bailey Mechanics (The largest production company in existence).

    - Use of Bailey's state-of-the-art field repair vessel 'Clover'.     - Use of trade routes from their sponsors.     - Discrete acess to the city of Bannerman and bases on Bhaile's moon.     - A pilot training facility in Bannerman.
 - A home fleet consisting of a few dozen warships.     - Secondary autonomous flotillas (Mainly the Tradech-Group and the Tristain-Flotilla).

History

IAFS was formed by three parties concerned at the growingly more tyrannical methods of The States Union;    - Lt.Colonel Bachika, formerly of TSU-Eastern Command and Research Division.     - Commander Ceathair, formerly of Remembrance.    - Vice-Admiral Louise, formerly Fleet-Commander of TSU 3rd Advanced Fleet.
Ceathair and Louise would both defect their posts, bringing with them ships and those under their command to form the initial IAFS force - Negotiating with Bailey Mechanics to form into a cohesive organisation. Coronel Bachika attempted to join up with the group, intending to be its head of army (Military police, training, marines, etc) - However he and his followers were caught and arrested ahead of time - With only three making it to space (Including his daughter whom would become a diplomatic head for the organisation) and a stolen data chip with a myriad of TSU intelligence.
