In order to get this job you need two whole feet. The purpose of the is to jump, stomp, dance, and crush grapes. Having feet makes the job a lot easier.

In this job, one pours grapes into a wooden vat. They then jump into the vat and crush the grapes. Once the grapes are smashed into a pulp the juice is removed. The grape skins are thrown out. The juice is then strained and filtered.

Social Status

This job is normally done by low-caste people. These people were villagers and Slaves that worked in temples to Prirruntri.

History

Before machines became glorified wine presses people use to crush grapes. When machines started to be used for this job started to stop. It was still used to make the wine that was used in the worship for Prirruntri. After Prirruntri's worship was outlawed it was the final nail in the coffin for this job.

Having a party is a way to pass the time and to make the boring job more lively.   Second, we have the temples of Prirruntri. Made with marble, soft materials, and the wooden vats look beautiful. The grape crushers in the temple are all Giustanonne or temple slaves. These slaves are not allowed to walk on the floors of the temple. Their feet also need to be cleaned in a special way. The slave is carried to the vats and when they are done they are carried away.
