Washing Bird

A Bird that washes items it finds in nearby bodies of water. It will then take these washed items back to their nest. Once it has collected enough items it will start to loudly call out to other washing birds in search of a mate. If attracted by these calls, the prospective partner will inspect the nest and its treasures. If it deems the collection impressive enough, it will make itself available for mating and settling down in the nest. If it does not like the exhibit, it will leave. Often taking an item with it.
Rival males will often attempt to steal another Washing Birds items. Often resulting in violent confrontations.
