Reactions
Reactions are a key part of how you interact with the world.
By default you may take one reaction per turn.
Standard Reactions
Melee Opportunity Attack
Gain an attack of opportunity against a creature with a melee weapon. This can be triggered in a number of ways, but mainly this occurs if they move through your zone of control (usually a 5ft. circle around you). However this can also trigger if a creature attempts to reload, cast a spell or use certain items within your zone of control. Unfortunately, as with many things, there will be those who can resist this or even bypass it altogether. Note: To the best of my knowledge this is the only Reaction to exist in the base rules of D&D 5e.Quick Move
Move a short distance, usually 5ft. in any direction you are able to. This action requires no trigger but cannot be used more than once a turn without items or abilities.Snap Shot
Make a quick ranged attack with a loaded ranged weapon at a significant penalty. Attacks made using this ability are usually given a -10 to their hit roll, but this can be higher or lower based on their weapon.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
