As with most places in Blackreach, Little Farland is home to may people of Hezmian decent. However, unlike most of the rest of the Duchy, it is also home to large numbers of people from more distant cultures due to its close proximity to the sea.
Government
Little Farland is ruled by the family of House Martain who in turn pay homage to the draconic rulers of the Duchy.
Defences
Though Little Farland only boasts a small town guard a few of its leading members are low raking Dragons of the ruling classes.
Industry & Trade
Trade in Little Fardand is mainly supported through hospitality, service, and tourism industries; With a large portion of people passing through its streets each day, especially during the warm seasons. A smaller portion of its income is made through the exploitation of exotic sea life found near its shoars, however, that is mainly monopolized by the higher classes situated outside of the town itself.
Infrastructure
Numerous ports line the sides and dockyards of the town that border the sea. It also being the home to the renowned Ergust & Young Magical Boattery
Assets
The Pinnacle of Farland is the town's most famous landmark, taking the form of a large obelisk in the near centre of the town.
Guilds and Factions
Both the Hezmian Fishers Guild and Jade Convent are known to recruit from this area, the Fishers Guild also holding a logistical office at the dockyards. The separatist Triumph of Lestria and Farland Independence Movement(Organisation) are also deep-set in the region. Causing much tension with the Dutchies rulers.
History
Blackreach used to be a vassal under the hold of an ancient Litch. It was liberated some time ago by the Black Dragon Targon the Great, who defeat the Litch at his chambers at Mallary Palace. His descendants have ruled the land up to this present day.
Architecture
Like the rest of Blackreach, most of the the buildings are roofed by polished green terracotta tiles. Thus giving a slight sheen to the townscape, especially when viewed from above.
