  Ironborn are relics of the ancient past. But it wasn't until the time of Akitha that they once more came to life. Ironborn are purely mechanical creatures built to withstand the challenges of a distant time. Their brains a series of whirling gears. By all means, they should not be able to work. But it seems the great power brought forth by the Great Eagle gave them something they were missing.   It is often speculated that they were created by the Ancients but their manufacture does not seem to match their style.

Coded Relic

This world is not the one you are built for and your internal coding makes it difficult to adapt to your surroundings. Yet there is still a silver lining that comes with this dark cloud. Your wisdom is low, incredibly so compared to most of your peers. However, your archaic programming make it very hard for your opponents to manipulate you. For the purpose of spell casting, class abilities and perception checks you are not subject to your racial modifier. In addition, an opponent can never have advantage on wisdom save against you unless it specifically targets constructs or comes from the gods.  

Mechanical Body

Your body is strong and wrought from metal and materials lost to time. You have resistance poison, none magical slashing damage and are not subject to the secondary effects of either (poisons, bleeds, etc.). However, you are vulnerable to electric damage and when you receive such damage you must make a dc 12 constitution save; If this save is failed you are reduced to a single action and your movement speed is halved until the end of your next turn.

You may pick any one of the following racial feats in place of an ordinary feat upon reaching the appropriate level.

 

Targeting Array

Requires a level 4 character
You have awakened an ancient targeting array within you. You gain +1 to all hit with range and spell attacks. One per day you may use this ability to target something granting you advantage to hit it with a single ranged or spell attack. If you attack hits you deal an additional 1d6 damage based on the attacks primary damage type. For every 4 levels you gain after 4th you gain an additional use of this ability.   Concentrated Light Emitter You have managed to reactive an ancient piece of equipment buried within your arm. While not verry powerful it is exceedingly capable of damaging a hard target. As a standard action, you may fire a beam of concentrated light from your arm; The damage output of which is entirely dictated on your distance from the target. The base damage of which is 1d6+1 and is not affected by any modifiers, for every 5ft. of distance between you and the target the max dmage is redi
