Venebones

The Venebones are one of the six tribal Kingdoms in the Nation of Galletica. They are a western tribe that borders the western non-Galletican Celts.   Their Queen is Dalriada au Gwier, who was recently placed on the throne after the other Galletician nations deposed King Drool Mac Arco.   Their former King was Drool Mac Arcol, who has been exiled.   Queen Dalriada is the niece of the King Mac Rocol. She is a large, strong woman, all muscle, dirty blond hair who wields a bastard sword one handed and wears Fultonian chain mail.   The High Druid Gweir, is the uncle to Queen Dalriada. When King Mac Arcol lost the election to be the new High King after the death of High King Math when the High Queen Tegwedd is Elected at the Great Kingsmoot, King Mac Arcol took about 20,000 of his warriors back to the lands of the Venebones. However, Druid Gweir, took 20,000 of the Venebones warriors to aid the new High Queen to defeat the forces of Karnak barbarians, hobgoblins and other forces of evil.   King Mac Drool's two children, Bran Mac Drool and Pus au Chaine, a Druidic priestess, were sent to kill a young child, Branwen living north of Immersea with her family in a abandoned tower. The brother and sister failed to kill Branwen, but killed Branwen's uncle Adminus, grandfather Arco and grandmother Neud. They were sent to kill Branwen and Alethia, member of the The Order of the Swordmaidens of the White Oak, because of a prophecy that if Alethia crossed into the Nation of Galletica, then dark and evil would fall the Venebones. Bran Mac Drool and Pus au Chaine were killed by Alethia, a member of The Order of the Swordmaidens of the White Oak and her retinue, including the bard Govaine, Reidonaucht "Ray" Inemar Skelenchen Bruma, Enchanter and Fultonian Diplomat, Ranglin Lap (a sergeant in the Immersean Guard), Ard Harvard (a Druid), and Dylack (a barbarian from the Dylack swamp). Branwen was fostered by the Lord and Lady of Immersea located in Northern Fultar.   The prophecy was fulfilled, as the Venebones waged an underground and open war but ultimately failed to prevent High Queen Tegwedd of the Tarvish from becoming elected High Queen. Queen Tegwedd used her new power to neuter the Venebones and take much of their territory that was divided up and given to the Tarvish, Uolcae and Albae.   Venebones towns include: Amershar (a town that received weapons illegally smuggled out of Fultar by the smuggler Slyvester), Bondar, Mucmag, Nirag (home of Branwen, Olae, Radhpor, Seanbaily, Slieveroe, Rossrin (capital).

Demography and Population

The total population of the Venebones tribe is estimated to be around 125,000.
