Guar Conquest

The Guar Khagan (or King) Ranglan united the nomadic, previously ever-rivaling Guar tribes under his rule through political manipulation and military might to conquer Fultar.   In only his 30s, he led a massive army of mounted warriors through Northern Fultar and the Fultar Forest to sack numerous towns and cities, including the ancient city of Gebash in the Barony of Mabon. The Guar negotiated the surrender of the city of Fulton, but spent the next two years imposing their will upon the free willed northern farmers and herders and the tribes of the Sua hills.   The conquest occurs the Year of Empire 482, or 482 years from the founding of the Fultonian Empire.   Some of his major changes include: 1) changing the farm land into pasture and 2) bringing Celtic priests to help rule.   This is the second and more longer lasting Guar invasion of Fultar. The current era, the Ages of Iron, is chronicled from the date Khagan Ranglan's invasion and conquest start with Year One of the Years of Iron
