After reaching the artifact, a magical hologram of a previous wizard appears with instructions how to use the artifact. And just by chance, the group is able to use the artifact to make D'zann into a real person.   He then leads them to the fallen city of Ythrynn. There the group and D'zann discover numerous magical horrors and experimentations gone wrong. Nothics prowl the entirety of the city and zombie Frost Giants patrol the streets. The group encounters a few groups of monsters, which are quickly dispatched. When they reach the Mythallar at the center of the city, they are confronted by a demilich and a horde of nothics under his command. After a stressful battle with the demilich, they are finally able to fell him with the help of Damian.   After they defeat the demilich, Lydia and D'zann scour the area for research and artifacts that might help the group defeat the Frostmaiden. While Lydia is searching, she discovers the staff in the demilich's quarters, is a Staff of Power and attunes to it. After Lydia attunes to the staff, D'zann calls out to her with a new finding. D'zann, being able to translate the demilich's old journals, Lydia and he learn that the Mythallar can move the city and even make it fly. Furthermore, the demilich seems to have discovered the black obelisk in the tower, can be used to possibly turn back time, when used in conjunction with a staff of power.   Lydia approaches the group with an idea to turn back time, just enough, so that they may take the flying city to Easthaven, right before the attack on Easthaven, so that they may try and defeat the Frostmaiden with their newfound power and relics. The group decides to use the obelisk and the staff, so that they may find a second chance at saving Biri...   The group spends a good half day, looking for clues on how to control the Ythryn Mythallar and drop the shield that is protecting it. In that time, Armin, found a manuscript with 4 cursed stage plays within....and he read ALL OF THEM. Leaving a dark scar on his soul...   When the group uses the staff, Lydia, making a DC 35 Arcana check at level 10, is able to use the staff to turn back time to roughly two weeks previous. They notice, that when they turned back time, everything they procured stays with them, but they still reside in the buried city hundreds of miles away from Easthaven....
