The Forgotten

A group of vigilantes, bent on claiming vengeance against those that wield the powers of necromancy. Many of the members met by chance or searched out others who had been affected by wizards, clerics and others who use or have used dark magic. Many the members come across as normal members of communities across the continent. Bakers, cobblers, stonemasons, etc. Many of these people have protective charms and weapons hidden about their homes. Prepared to be ready at any moment a situation should arise or when a higher ranking member of the Forgotten recruits them for a task.
Their symbol is a black dripping hand. As to represent the victims and their families affected and corrupted by necromancy and other dark magics. They often paint the symbol onto their armor and have makeshift banners that they place next to the bodies of mages and clerics they have hunted down. 
Due to being an unsanctioned faction that hunts, kills and maims arcanists across the continent, authorities in multiple kingdoms have investigations open on the faction. The Forgotten, as a whole, refuse to work with local authorities and governments because they believe inaction causes suffering. The leaders of the Forgotten believe suffering and inaction, allows for the rise of evil.
