Ruined Tower, Invaldi

An ancient repository of the mountain fae's relics, the Ruined Tower Invaldi is known by the learned of the world as a place of great healing. Restorative and preserving magics seep from every stone in the tower, enough to keep its location at least crystallized and its primeval artefacts intact. The granite walls which once shone white in the dawn have overgrown with a steely blue lichen unique to the tower, known as the Tears of a Hero. Its stone sills and single brass door stand clean of the tears and pristine despite the years. Inside the keep is infested with the same lichen as the outside, though the interior variety is soft to the touch, and time spent in the tower is supernaturally restful - so much so that it's said a week of care within Invaldi will dispel the most vile curses, cure the deadliest diseases, and may even bring back the dead.   The tower, nestled in the Fjalli Mountains and thus protected from much of the world's turmoil, was overrun by Blaur's forces pushing westward in 50 OR. At this time, Invaldi was ruled by a spring fae scholar of the same name, who collected many relics of that now-bygone era - the tower, if found, would serve as a grand history of many great fae heroes and villains, or as a crown jewel of some arcane thesis on preservation or crystalization magics.   The way to Invaldi has been lost to the seas of time and Týndastran geography, but legends spoken in whispers among mountainous spring court fae say there may be a particularly long-winded Saga which invariably leads the skald to Invaldi.
