Damned Master of the Arena
Damned Master of the Arena. Never thought I'd actually survive long enough for the arena to recognize me as its master. Guess that's what happens when an old war hero gambles a bit too much in such a dreadful place. Killed every challenger, I did, and can't say I regret it. Never did find out what actually happens to the other contenders who've stepped into that circle. Seeing as it's the winter court what watches? I don't have high hopes for them...The Arena of the Damned often serves as the convergence point of many who've no will to live, and due to its unique properties, garners crowds of betting fey. During these convergences, many are slaughtered in the arena. When an individual garners enough souls to the Arena (usually by slaying his or her foes), the arena itself may choose them as its master, dubbed the Kirottu. Being the Kirottu entitles the holder a measurable degree of rulership over its location, allowing the Kirottu to manifest a figment of the arena in many places given the proper time, as well as the ability to both ward off and direct death on their foes. As the Kirottu is a hardened veteran and the title affords a measure of extended life, the current holder of the title is only the second since the mortal races awakened.Kirottu Vahva
