The Arcane Pillars

The Arcane Pillars are colossal ancient structures woven into the foundational magical architecture of Tydas during the earliest years after Creation. Established through collaboration between the Creators Three and the Elder Mage lineages, the Pillars regulate and harmonize the natural arcane currents that flow throughout the world, maintaining equilibrium among elemental, spiritual, and dimensional forces.

Though incapable of generating magic themselves, wizards attuned to the Pillars can perceive and manipulate existing magical resonance through disciplined synchronization. Over centuries, the Pillars became deeply tied to the balance of Tydas itself, with disturbances in their resonance often reflecting instability within the world.

Much of their true design remains unknown to modern scholars, though ancient lineages such as Var Oysndor continue to safeguard fragments of their original purpose.
