Within Tydas, lightning is an elemental force, governed by the Creators Three, the high wizards of Tydaria and the Muses of Tydas. 

Considering that there are appliances in the world, these electric objects would be powered by

• Lightning crystals
• Stormstone fragments
• runic energy coils
• magically contained sparks
• elemental conduits connected to Drecurian ice storms or Mesani heat currents

When it comes to cooking, there can be wood-fired ovens as well as magically electric ovens.
