Clover stepped forward from the living wall of vines, her soft green wrap trailing behind her. Her hair was threaded with glowing petals and deep green leaves. She bowed her head respectfully; it was rare for her to interupt unless the forest itself urged her.

Clover is one of the five muses of Tydas, a woman who serves as the conduit of communication between deities and mortals. She serves the flowering wildland, Thosta, and is very well known and respected throughout the land. When she isn't around the deities, she can be seen wandering the forests, the meadows, or helping the Thostans with whatever is needed.

A Deeper Insight into Clover and Thosta

Clover’s presence in Thosta is often felt before it is formally seen. She does not move through the wildland with ceremony or demand attention from those around her; instead, she appears in the ordinary rhythms of life, usually where her hands can be useful.

A villager might find her mending a damaged garden wall with roots and vines, brushing mud from the knees of a child who wandered too far into the meadow, or crouched beside a frightened animal until it trusts the world again. She has been known to help gather fallen fruit after storms, guide travelers away from unsafe paths, and sit quietly with grieving families when words would only make the silence heavier.

Because of this, Thostans do not think of Clover as a distant figure kept behind temple walls. To them, she is woven into the living land itself: a muse who belongs as much to the moss, orchards, and hidden trails as she does to the deities she serves.

• A staff entwined with living vines, used for channeling Erisdar’s deeper earth magic
