Seeru
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Seeru is usually seen hunched over onto all fours, sprinting accross the sand in the distance. Though it has been reported that they can stand on their two hind limbs and still move at an alarming speed. Dubious eyewitnesses report short thick fur covering the creature ranging in color from black to blood red and shimmering in the light. Reports also say the creature is immensely strong and capable of overturning a fully loaded caravan wagon to access anyone who might be hiding underneath. These same dubious reports claim the creatures are anywhere from 6' to 13' tall when standing on their hind legs, and that their upper limbs are freakishly long and muscular.
Reports of massive teeth and claws, nearly 8" in length are most likely fabricated, as are the rantings about how their eyes glow, even in the middle of the day.
Biological Traits
Seeru thrive on fear and violence, (an unintended result of the experiments). Pain, whether caused to them, or by them, only increases their strength and ferocity. The poison generated in their saliva will slowly kill anything that is bitten, or even scratched by their fangs.
Their hide is extremely thick and requires either a heavy weapon, or immense strength to penetrate in any meaningful way and the rate of regeneration from wounds is alarming. If the Seeru is given any form of respite from combat, they will undoubtedly return to the fight as if they had never been wounded.
Genetics and Reproduction
Unknown. No one has ever been able to study of the creatures long enough to discern genders or any other biological information.
Growth Rate & Stages
No young Seeru have ever been studied, and no corpses have ever been recovered. It is unknown how long the creatures live, or how they mature.
Ecology and Habitats
It lives in the most remote and desolate areas of the Great Vaviel Desert. Rarely venturing into more populated areas unless sick or starving.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Extreme carnivore. It is said the Seeru can consume its weight in meat every day, and still not be satisfied.
Biological Cycle
It is unaffected by seasons due to where it lives. It is unknown if the creature creates or maintains any form of den as none have ever been reported.

Facial characteristics
Short wide snout like the face of a bat, filled with rows of razor sharp teeth. Mouth can open extremely wide to allow the creature to latch onto even some of the larger animals. Eyes glow brighter and brighter in accordance with the amount of fear it senses in its prey. Short cropped ears that follow the curvature of its skull.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Mainly in the desert. Some have been reported in the mountains.

Dangerously intelligent. Lacks any form of empathy and prefers to cause terror in the hearts of it's prey before finally killing and consuming them.

Conservation Status
Very rarely spotted. To the point that nearly all reports of a sighting are dismissed as false. Scholars estimate less than 100 still exist.

Average Physique
Dense, muscular body. Lean and able to maneuver with almost unbelievable speed.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Short thick, bristly fur covers it's entire body. Most are pitch black but blood red fur has been known to appear in select, larger, Seeru.
