Garden City
Garden Cities are contained, planned communities typically created by Mirror Life TKMirrorViruses. These viruses typically infect creatures who feed off of the TKStrangePlants. The Strange Plants are extremely dense biomaterial made of strange matter, drawing beings toward them even to their own detriment. Thus these mutated beings will often begin organized colonies with high sociality which focus heavily on contained living and green spaces.
In the Astrid Mountain Range, there are five large garden cities:
Burweed City : Home to the Scalewing and Ameisi, who feed off of the Giant Burweed. The Queen of their colony is the Godsibb Thistlenymph with Braciaca and Latis as her handmaidens. Helianthe is their main oracle. They are famous for their breweries and apothecaries.
Salvia City : Home to the Scalewing and TKOrchidbees, who feed off the TKGiantSage, they also successfully breed edible flowers. The Queen of this colony is the Godsibb TKOrchidbeeSib. There is high biodiversity among Salvia City's crops, and is also home to TKVerticalOrchidGardens, as well as the TKGallWasps who maintain them. They are a culinary paradise but have strict rules to manage their delicate ecosystem.
Liontooth City: Home to Scalewing and TKJapaneseBeetles, and TKCuckooBees, and those who feed off the TKGiantDandelion, they are often overrun by permafungus from the base camp villages of TKSpiderMites and TKTwistedWingParasite. Lionteeth grow almost everywhere and their properties change with altitude, which leads to population increases during good seasons. TKPermafungus is a bit issue. It is a primary source of latex and rubber, leading it to be a very industrialized area. Everyone wants to capitalize on Liontooth City.
Hedgenettle City: Home to TKLeafCutterBees, Scalewing, TKPoisonCaterpillar, and TKSpiderMites a metropolis of a city and one of the largest and most diverse Garden Cities. They are known to be craftspeople, weavers, their leader is the Godsibb TKCutterBeeKing, they are also home toTKOrchidBees and other bees. The Three Plentiful and Wise (Rosmerta, Cantismerta, and one more) are their deities. Their oracle is Lambseare. There are also mollusks, perhaps this is by a humid area.
Livenettle City: Home to TKSlugs and TKSnails, as well as Scalewing and TKSilkCaterPillar, they feed off the TKGiantNettle. They are not very populated by other Mirror Life because the GiantNettle is a severe allergen to them, and so it is much more of a poorly-run wilderness. Those who live there are not allowed to leave. People have been attempting to incorporate it into empires for centuries. There are rumours of lost kingdoms and treasure on TKOldStingingMountain.
