Shion is Luna and Eclipse's best friend. She knows the latest gossip and news around the school. She has a different mother which is why her hair is black. While Shion's father is Somena Zankoku, her mother is a girl named Faith whose father is a geneticist at the National Lab. Shion is a result of a Science experiment mixing 3 different DNA in one, and was born with Cardiac problems.

Everyone knows Shion is the youngest daughter of Eira of Somena but that's far from the truth. Eira isn't Shion's mom. Her biological mom was a teenaged girl named Faith. Faith's father and Somena were co-workers and as part of a deal, Somena agreed to impregnate Faith to create a Human Demon Hybrid. Because of this, Shion was born with a chronic illness that made her heart weak

Shion attends Twilight Academy. She used to go to Shirogane Gakuen for elementary school.
