A denizen of the underground city of Selkath, Genevieve Rosethorne is the owner and sole proprietor of The Rosethorne, a shop specializing in alchemy with a twist of botany. The shop can be seen as a long-standing fixture of the commerce district of Selkath, and has been operated by members of her family since before the fall of the old city. She personally holds wide regard in the city as one of its most promising potion makers outside of the royal house and gladiatorial districts, understanding the practical applications of many herbs and fungi that are unique to the underdark, or considered rare throughout the region.
However, one does not run such a successful business without a decent amount of personal savvy, and a competitive mindset. Whisperings from many of the smaller alchemy shops tend to paint a more curt picture of her personality, sometimes edging on dismissive and hostile.
