The Crefts Family Patch Keeping

Mimi: I went to talk to them. They are still poops.
The Crefts are a family of Naiads that live on the surface of the Tam River. They live in a patch of duckweed and are stupidly pretentious.
They are avoided by Naiads wherever possible, but they are the best Naiad craftsman along the Tam River, so they are still actually important to our society.
I remember, as a child, swimming into their territory to steal duckweed. There was a bunch of us that did that. Someone thought that we could make medicine from it - but the duckweed itself wasn't anything special or different to other duckweed. Their recipes must just be passed from generation to generation. Still, it was like a test of courage for us to gather as much as we could.

Relations and Patch-Keeping

The Crefts are one of the few families left on the Tam River that still cling to family relations. Once your kid grows up, its normal for them to leave the patch and make their own home. The Crefts don't do that. The grow and shrink their same duckweed patch as they birth new Naiads or old ones drift to death.
A lot of Naiads make homes in the riverbed and don't care about the patch of flora they were born in. The Crefts constantly maintain their duckweed patch. Honestly, their behaviours have tainted the assumptions of all Duckweed Naiads.

My Lotus Naiad Friend

I went to talk to the Creft family and my friend was there. Turns out she was a part of the family too! Even though she was always the one who won the tests of courage when we were kids!
But yeah, the Crefts are a family of Duckweed, Lotus and Dryad types.

Compass

And it turns out that the reason my Naiad friend knows where the Gortminin whales are is because of a compass her family made cycles and cycles ago.
I asked why she herself hasn't talked to the whales there, but she said that anyone with the compass will get lost along the way. But used from their duckweed patch, the compass still works.
So, the artifact works, a little bit, but it doesn't work with the Guardians anymore.
As we are friends, I was told of the story of the compass. It's a really weird story and definitely been told by too many Naiads to make any sense for the records of KLS. It was fun to listen too though - I even added a chapter!
However, there was a description of a Dark Elf that sounded familiar.

Text Chat

Mimi: Taegrin, have I ever talked about a Dark Elf with red hair and scar scarf?
Taegrin: The Wandering Fellow?
Mimi: Ah! Hoen's friend. I should ask her then.
Taegrin: Stay safe...
