Clearwen river

Riverboat by night. As you try to sleep during the swaying motion of the riverboat, you hear the rustling of the leaves from overhanging branches against the sides of the boat. In the distance, you hear the howl of a wolf, and another, coming from a little whiles away.

Riverboat by day. Continuously floating forward, the riverboat takes on bend after bend of the seemingly endless river. As the speedmaker ushers the boat forward, you notice during a moment of silence on the boat that you hear sounds coming from the land surrounding you, reduced only slightly in loudness by the slight wind and the rustling of the water. You hear the scattering of game that was drinking on the banks of the river and the flapping of wings from birds hastily evacuating low hanging branches that meet the side of the boat. When you stare into the water, you wonder if you only image the faint slithering of a creature beneath.
River running from somewhere deep within the Otness mountains, through the waterfall in Clearwen to Rough Sea, mounding near Cithrea.

Fauna & Flora

The river is home to a variety of sweet-water fish. Water birds looking for a meal occupy the cane on the side in the Northern Innlands and overhanging branches in the The Highoak Woods.
