Summary

A member of the Edo-era law enforcement group known as the Shinsengumi from the not-so-distant future. As assistant to the vice commander, Tōdō Heisuke is Hijikata Toshizō's most trusted aide, but despite this has almost no interest in her superior, Instead, she fawns over Kondō Isami to an obsessive degree. Both her fascination with the commander of the Shinsengumi and overall excitability lent themselves well to her previous childlike state, but as a young adult the same qualities are a bit disquieting.
Heisuke is an intelligent and capable law enforcer in her own right, although she doesn't show it much. Her nature is to let others take the spotlight, and to do most of her own work in the background.
