Jean-Marc Archambault Character in Tsuwamono | World Anvil

Jean-Marc Archambault

the Rake

Summary

A ruggedly handsome frog who hails from the underground fighting scene of Paris. Jean-Marc Archambault is cocky and headstrong. He pays little heed or respect to others. Combined with his ranine good looks, this makes him rather popular among the right kind of audience—and utterly insufferable to everyone else. His skill is real, though. Although he's no trained warrior, Jean-Marc has honed his body to peak performance. The snap of his fists and hip-hop of his feet have left many a foe seeing stars.   Jean-Marc claims to have smuggled himself into Japan by way of hiding in an Alexandrian noblewoman's wardrobe for the entirety of the journey. The truth of this can't be verified, but it makes about as much sense as anything else to do with this surly-burly toad. Now that he's here, and with a surprising grasp of the local language, Jean-Marc has opted to participate in the Event: All-Out Frog-Out managed and funded by the Hashinara Clan. This, truly, is the chance to prove what he's known all along: that Jean-Marc is the ideal specimen of a frog.
