Summary
Chief curator at the Baharnan Library. Although Chhean has a number of untitled Baharnan librarians working beneath her, she alone holds the title of Curator and final say over what books or items are kept within the library's walls. A seasoned adventurer in her own right, Chhean is older than her petite frame might suggest, and her own contributions to the collection went some way toward earning her title. Although not very free with details of her past, it's well-known in Baharna that Chhean is one of the city's few mystics. Magic is not well-understood among her people, so even other titled Baharnans tend to hold Chhean's ability to move the earth to her will in a sense of subtle awe. Those who visit Chhean's library are sure to be welcomed with a quiet smile and a reading recommendation in their favored language. She loves to show off her greatest treasure, the Only Accurate Map of the Dreamlands and chat with people from around the world, and may be persuaded to produce other curiosities if so asked.
