The Ascended, more often referred to as "the Lord Himself" is a god incarnate. He acts both as the official head of state in his realm, as well as the head of the Church of Ascension and the government. In both cases however, he has retired, and allows matters to be conducted in his name by representatives.

One would never assume this creature to be as ancient as he is. His features are young and handsome, his hair a deep flowing black, his eyes a cold yet fiery blue. He is healthy, far from what one would assume a man of such grand age to be. Though what else would one expect of a living god?
