One of the 10 imperial canton, Corton is the southern-most city of the empire. It is home to roughly 1.1 million inhabitants, making it one of the largest cities in the empire. Built on both sides of the Erannel , it is commonly seen as the extent of the empire's reach to the south. Corton is surprisingly loyal to Sorenel however, even more so than Geruth which is nearer
