Hold the Future Clone

Hold the Future started in the cloning industry in the early 2050's when gene editing was starting to have a common use. While starting in military soldiers, making their own forces in secret as money was made to warring countries. Soon the need to create other forms of life to do other jobs so that the company could become self-efficient. Branches; Information, Technology, Science, Military, and Logistics, were made to control all parts of the company, which meant that different forms of clones were needed for different jobs.   Hybrids of jobs are always experimented with, if new roles want to be made then a batch of clones are made with that role in mind. They are to compete as they age just to continue the "evolution" of that clone line, some roles hadn't changed much in the couple hundred years. The worst for it is the Military Branch which has the shortest lifespan of any Branch, averaging about ten years, just to the pure fact that they fight for the top position and to stay alive. The longest living are the Science and Technology as it is all based on memory, averaging sixty, with the bonuses of several generations having passed already to select to keep memory, plus ways to "add" storage space in the brain.   It would also depend on what job the number of clones is made in a batch, those for Logistics are the largest and are meant to replace the current force. They would only be taught to follow instructions and typically do not have names and go from the batch number given. The more manager roles do get names. Military is next, depending on the role within, fodder or specialized. Fodder batches are only made for war and haven't been made since, all military are specialized with a lean towards close combat. Information branch had higher numbers before war and the current day, they were the connection and information taking side when it came to the normal populous. The number is currently limited with the lack of long distance communication that is available.

Basic Information

Genetics and Reproduction

No natural reproduction is done, all are lab grown with only the top positions having "children" mixed with a random pick of old world genetics.

Growth Rate & Stages

The first thirteen years are accelerated, with the next five to find out if they are worth keeping after which they will be given a name instead of their batch number.
