Kukrit

Kukrit is the dockmaster at Valdeck Crossing, a small trading port a few hours journey north of Sturmin. The main road north out of Sturmin follows the river Dar, and splits here into two roads. The left fork continues to follow the river north to Karnath, with the right fork bridging across the river and continuing out to Valdeck. Goods arrive via cart and caravan from Valdeck, and are shipped south into Sturmin via barges to cut almost a whole day's travel off the return journey for caravan traders.
Kukrit is an impatient and untrusting man. He is mostly interested in ensuring that his docks run smoothly, and has little patience for the nonsense the boat captains and caravan traders try with him.
