Ventris (Vent- riz)

~The City of Steel~

Surrounded by water lies a city of brilliance, brains, and magic. The city of steel is the newest of all four of the continent's capitals, but it has built up with the most haste of all of them. The ruling family of this city have changed the amount of time a clock hand changes it's position. The social inequality in this city is not mirrored in any other quadrant. Those who reach 'bar level' are sent to 'The Island of Kings'. All of these concepts and strange political ways have been made in great depth. Brilliant inventions, and powerful magic can be found in the streets of Ventris.   Stats provided: If from Ventris, you gain proficiency in the tinkerer's kit, a +1 in intelligence and the feat 'Street smart'. Demographics

The demographics of this city is far and wide. Most are poor, but that is all many have in common. All kind of species, races, and cultures are spread throughout the streets of Ventris.

Government

The political system in this city is the most corrupt and unfair to those without money. Tax is 50% of your wage, and each civilian must be able to sacrifice a gold piece a week if they do not have a wage. This is unbalanced as some families and citizens wages include food and resources. Those of political importance are on The island of Kings.
