The Tapestry of Chrone-Norns

Woven with Moonthread thinner than can be seen and dyed in impossible hues, the Tapestry of Chrone-Norns is a legendary relic said to be woven directly by the triple-aspected goddess of fate and time herself. It is no fixed object as its size and appearance shift constantly, sometimes showing scenes of battle and bloodshd, others that of wonderous nature and serene mountains. Some see it as a wall-sized mural of thread and motion while others see a small portable cloth stitched with secrets.

Its most famed quality, however, is this. When a person of great potential, consequence, or cursed destiny stands before it, the Tapestry shifts to show an image of what their future holds.

No sound is made. No explanation given. The image weaves itself, slowly and surely, with a hum like distant chimes or the cutting of scissors. Once seen, it cannot be unseen.

There are some things to note about its interpretation. The tapestry is never overly clear about what it shows, instead using heavy metaphor or symbology to convey its mean, one where its true meaning might not be clear until the very moment it comes true. To some it might show a glorious battle, to others a tragic loss but to a few, it shows nothing at all. For these last individuals are already considered dead in fates eyes, and are often hunted by Chrone-Nords followers as a aberration beyond her sight.

It is currently located with in the League of Iamel-zed but, due to the chaotic nature of the land and its peoples, it is often moved around and lost only to be found again hundreds of kilometers away.
