Economy: Much of House Wheelnameitlater's wealth comes from the various gnomish inventions they produce. While the majority of their work might seem pointless or outright detrimental, every now and then their brilliant minds produce something revolutionary. Their endless tinkering has produced many mechanical contraptions that are responsible for many of the things that the Noble Houses and their servants take for granted today. Their machines in particular are responsible for the many paths and roads covering the continent, linking the Oligarchy in a way that allows it to communicate and survive as a political entity. While the genius of the gnomish mind is unquestionable, it is said that the best way for you to get what you want is to request the exact opposite and assign fifty gnomes to the project. Eventually one will produce what you desire. This attitude is reflect on the house as a whole, where their chaotic nature always seems to produce exactly what they need to stay in power just when it is needed.

Military- Despite many of their number being gnomes and averse to violence, House Wheelnameitlater has a formidable fighting force at its disposal. They have an unrivaled understanding of explosive, creating many forms of cannons and similar weapons, as well as having a large number of mechanical military devices that can be used.

History- One of, if not the oldest house in the Oligarchy, this house of gnomes has seemingly always existed in one form or another. While their power has risen or wanned, they have rarely actually taken much of an interest in the outside world. Instead each gnome has their own "Lifequest" that the dedicate their entire attention to. When, if ever, they succeed in this, they simply pick another quest to focus on. These are usually mechanical, scientific or rarely magical in nature. There are rare exceptions to this Such as Notaboat Wheelnameitlater, who hold politics as their lifequest. Due to this, she is often the main individual that people interact with when dealing with this house. Their house is mainly based in Mount This-Regard but does have many smaller satellite settlements that generally follow the gnomish chaotic lifestyle. While many would seek to emulate or acquire these gnomes, few can actually stand let alone survive their way. Thus they are often left to their own devices
