Economy- The vast majority of this ancient House's profits come from the vast hearts of Livestock they and their vasal houses, such as House Terr, herd across the southern lands of the oligarchy. These are mainly cows, Aurochs and Hadrosaurs, but there are smaller herds of other creatures such as goats, sheep and even some monstrous creatures. These herds are eventually driven to culling lands where mages, alchemists and butchers await to thin the herds of excess and begin the great trek again
Military- Despite the wealth many of the more decadent houses would allow to soften them, House Gelbvieh remains a rather hardy and fierce House on the battle field. They have a culture that prefers death to shameful surrendor and remain as stubborn as many of the creatures they herd. This tenacity when combined with the more specialized troops from vassal House such as House Terr and their Terr-Raptors, allows them to become a threat on any battle field they step foot on.
History- As one of the founding members of the oligarchy, House Gelbvieh has a long and storied history that threads through out the that of the land as a whole. Though their power and influence as risen and fallen through out the years, the houses still stands as one of the main powers in the land
House Gelbveih’s lands are a vast as their cattle herds. Millions of heads of cattle roam the sea of grass under their purview. Skilled riders corral them to vast slaughterhouses for processing before their shipment to the other regions. Cattle is big business, and House Gelbvieh is the wealthiest of the houses. But they don’t live in luxury. They enjoy their reputation as hardy warriors, more likely to fight to the death then give into the shame of surrender.
