The group raid a house owned by an elven intelligence operation.  They are forced to flew into the tunnels beneath the house.

The party sets out for the house again.  On the way they hear that the number of headless corpses has increased by one, and Fin resolves to investigate. Sending one person in with a decoy box, Virris sends in his familiar in the form of a rat to watch what happens.  The rat discovers the location of a secret door which the party prepares to open. Finding a set of stairs and alarmed trap doors leading up and down the party debates which way to go.  They decide to go up and Virris dispels the alarms.   The party makes their way upstairs where they encounter a group of skilled close combat fighters. Despite sustaining many injuries (lots of friendly fire by Gulius) they prevail, capturing one of the elves they were fighting.  The building is surrounded by city watch and the party reality we they are trapped.   The usual looting ensues during which many documents are found suggesting this is a safe house for an intelligence division. Vesryn encounters a mimic that nearly eats him, before the party interrogate the prisoner.  After good and bad cop fail, Virris steps in as Psi-cop and reads the prisoners mind to get the answers they need.   Gulius, in hopes of sealing a deal with the elves, tries to let the prisoner escape but the rest of the party intervene.  Guilds elects to remain behind to cut a deal while the others escape by breaking through the floor and using the other trap door. Gulius is captured and the others escape into a tunnel that supposedly leads to the other side of the river.   Making their way through the tunnel, the party first find a barred alcove with a hidden lever.  Despite the overwhelming temptation to pull it to see what it did, the party leave it alone.  A little further along, they find a black pudding, held back by torches.  Moving swiftly on they next encounter some guards.  Combat ensues and another mage shows up, throwing a fireball at the party.  Virris responds in kind, roasting the mage, and more impressively, missing the rest of the party. The remaining guards engage the party in combat.  Virris, true to form, hits Vesryn in the back with a firebolt.  More guards arrive, following the party from the surface.  As they are driven back, one of them removes one of the torches, unleashing the black pudding.   Once the guards leave and the ooze is eating the remains, the party continue into the tunnels.  A bit further in, they discover a prison/interrogation complex, and a human, who had just escaped, killing his captors.  The human, Roke, joins the party.   After a bit more exploring the party decided to leave via the garbage chute.  This proves to be a mistake as an otyugh waits at the bottom.  Though it grabs several of the party, Virris is able to teleport past a locked gate and release the party from the garbage room.  After more fighting, the rest of the party escape the creature, and kill it at range through the grate.   Moving back upstairs the party encounter the ooze again, which nearly kills Vesryn before being destroyed.  As the party try to escape the tunnels a dull eyed human appears and gestures for them to follow him.  After Vesryn sends a message at him, the party (except Roke) hear a voice in their heads telling them to follow the man.   The man leads them through a secret door, past an intellect devourer, to a ladder.  Climbing upstairs they find themselves in the basement of a house with a voice talking in their heads the whole time.  Alphonse goes to climb the stairs but encounters another intellect devourer which renders him unconscious.  The voice tells them they could rest in the house they find themselves in, which they do, surrounded by humans wandering around with blank expressions.   Leaving the house, the party find themselves several streets over from where they had started.  The voice tells them that their ship has been taken, so they go to a safe house that Roke knows about.
