Meet Ash

(a.k.a. Codename Cinderella)

Theoretically, Ash should be 29 years old man, but because he was forced to undergo a ritual transformation into a demon when he was a little boy, nobody, not even Ash does, what exactly is his body up to these days. The only thing we are certain of is that their blood kinda looks like lava. And while Ash does not seem to mind the occasional stabbing, which tends to be a natural part for a (half)demon's life, please do not do it too often and just take our words for it.
The fanatics responsible for Ash's transformation are long dead, his demonic patron (or a parent of a sort?) seems to resurface now and again in the wastes of the lower Abyss to either gain or lose some favour, but you will meet Ash most frequently at the very gates of Hell. He's a skilful mechanic and loves trains and steam powered stuff a lot.

Personal history

He does not remember much of what has happened to him before he became half-demon. He doesn't really want to remember the years that came imediatelly after the transformation either. He considers himself an orphan and thinks he was born somewhere in the west. And even if he didn't, he likes to travel there anyways. There are some cool rocks and mining sites out there.

Education

Everything he learnt he did so by doing. And centuries of doing stuff gives you a lot of advantages in the workforce despite your... somewhat menacing appearance.

Employment

He works for the RH and fixes up trains, mostly. Sometimes he makes some extra income by joining some monsterslayer groups, especially when he wants to travel around the Republic and have a bit of a vacations. Drinking buddies are always welcomed no matter how small or feisty. He can survive a stab or two no problem. As long as they pay him for the clothing repairs, he is down for some adventuring.

Mental Trauma

The transformation into a half demon was not pretty.

Morality & Philosophy

All children deserve happy upbringing no matter the species, race or societal status. Whenever there is some injustice being committed on some kid he makes it his duty to step in and protect the weaker and smaller and squishier people. He loves animal babies too much but is kind of afraid to pet them out of fear of causing them pain.

Circumstances of Birth

He's not really sure when it happened. He feels like he's thirty but the world around him seems to be running quicker than his own body clock does. Anyways, he was born long time ago and his biological family is probably dead anyways.

Bright red and they shine when he gets really angry.

It looks like mica stone.

Very dark almost completely black.
