Astromancy

Astromancy is one of the four main schools of magic. It uses the stars and constellations above one's head to manipulate the reality around the caster. Knowing the positions of stars even though you cannot see them during the day is absolutely essential to this craft. It's a magic of prophecies and creating changes and patterns that will effect the future in a grand scheme. There are many styles of casting this magic as there are types of mages in general. Typically an astromancer is using a staff with some type of reflective crystal at the top and a bunch of smaller mechanical devices when creating charts and horoscopes for individual readings. They are well versed in mathematics, psychology, mythology and dream interpretations. Symbols have great power here.
